In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a high‑performing team delivering data‑driven insights, advanced analytics and strategic intelligence to support safety, policy and regulatory transformation across Transport for NSW, this role places you at the centre of shaping the future of how we understand and use data across the cluster.
This role will see you lead a team of analytics specialists to deliver complex data analysis, performance reporting and customer insights that directly inform policy, operational decision-making and future-focused strategic initiatives. You’ll operate as the subject matter expert in advanced analytics—building new analytical approaches, enhancing data maturity, and connecting disparate data sources to uncover insights that matter.
You will drive innovative, evidence-based methods that improve decision‑making, strengthen data quality, and unlock efficiencies in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment where accuracy, collaboration and strategic thinking are essential.

About you
Your deep analytical capability, strategic mindset and ability to translate complex technical information for non‑technical audiences—shaped across data analytics, advanced modelling or similar environments—will see you deliver high‑quality insights, overcome challenges related to complex data ecosystems, and build robust data foundations that enable better outcomes for customers and communities.
You're recognised as a collaborative leader who builds strong relationships, skilled at guiding teams to deliver high‑impact analytical products, and experienced in managing large datasets, developing models, improving data integrity, and advising senior stakeholders with clarity and credibility.
