The Reserve Bank of Australia is undertaking a significant technology infrastructure transformation that will modernise core capabilities and help position the Bank for the future. We're looking for an experienced transformation leader to play a pivotal role in delivering this strategic initiative.

This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, strategy and organisational change, partnering with senior executives, business leaders and technology specialists to deliver outcomes that matter.

About the role

As Senior Manager, Infrastructure Transformation, you will oversee the planning and execution of a major technology infrastructure and operating model transformation. You will provide leadership across multiple workstreams while ensuring successful delivery of strategic objectives, governance outcomes and business benefits.

Working within Enterprise Strategy & Change, you will:

  • Lead large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives from strategy through to execution

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology and the broader Bank to drive alignment and deliver outcomes

  • Provide oversight across operating model design, financial modelling, impact assessment, vendor management and delivery frameworks

  • Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across a complex change environment

  • Lead, develop and support high-performing teams while fostering a culture aligned to the Bank's values

  • Drive continuous improvement in project, governance and change management practices

About you

You are a strategic and resilient leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience leading large-scale technology transformation programs

  • Demonstrated success delivering organisational change with complex business and technology impacts

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and diverse stakeholder groups

  • Experience managing major vendors and Tier 1 consulting partners

  • Expertise across project delivery, change management, operating model transformation and governance

  • A proven track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams

  • Strong commercial, risk management and problem-solving capabilities
