Senior Manager, EMEA In-Market Distribution, is responsible for the management of functional execution activities including the management of the relationship and performance of the distribution centers per the responsibilities section.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end in-market distribution operations for assigned markets, ensuring continuity of supply, rapid issue resolution, and robust business continuity planning.
  • Manage and oversee 3PL operations across EMEA, including inventory accuracy, product destruction, service exceptions, and execution of relevant directives and operating models.
  • Drive 3PL performance management and cost discipline by tracking KPIs (e.g., OTIF/service levels, inventory accuracy, deviations), maintaining unit cost/price files as required, and escalating service issues to closure.
  • Establish and maintain governance cadences (e.g., regular 1:1s and forums) with in-market QA, CPSO, Compliance, Planning, Regulatory, and Finance to accelerate decision-making, remove blockers, and manage escalations.
  • Prepare, standardize, and deliver Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and Business Review materials with 3PLs, ensuring governance consistency and inspection-ready documentation/evidence packs.
  • Accountable for inventory management and accuracy, including cycle counts, physical inventories, destructions, product launches, FDD requests, and daily review of delivery (IOD) reports.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, attend, or arrange physical inventory counts and witnesses at 3PL sites.
  • Support and troubleshoot SAP distribution interfaces, inventory variances, redeployments, redress activities, and ensure SAP inventory posting integrity, including manual movements where required.
  • Liaise with in-market logistics, OTC, QA, Finance, Planning, and regional logistics teams to provide analysis, data, and operational support for planning, redeployment, and redress activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with GDP, cGMP, EHS, SOX/finance business controls, and support local GDP procedures and market-specific requirements, including partner qualification and oversight.
  • Support logistics incident reports (LIRs), mock recalls, audit/inspection readiness, and continuity of supply to avoid service disruptions; coordinate corrective action follow-up and evidence provision.
  • Represent Distribution in market and regional quality forums (e.g., Quality Councils) and own follow-up actions to closure.
  • Deliver market-specific external reporting obligations as required (e.g., safety stock and shortage-related reporting, waste packaging reporting, and other compliance submissions via local authority/industry portals).
  • Lead monthly destruction governance with Finance, assess volumes/costs, maintain tracking, and drive forecast accuracy and financial control.
  • Execute procurement and purchase order management activities (e.g., annual PO creation, monthly processing, balance monitoring, and closure of aged POs) in line with internal controls and policy.
  • Manage 3PL contracts, operating manuals, SOPs, SLAs, GDP compliance, and business reviews, acting as the key reference point for logistics operational issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Support operational change and implementation activities (e.g., warehouse transitions/relocations, onboarding of new partners/lane changes), ensuring readiness testing and continuity of supply.
  • Support launch, lifecycle, and discontinuation activities with CPSO and cross-functional teams, including distribution readiness, controlled timelines, inventory disposition, and customer/market communications as applicable.
  • Drive risk, expiry, and short shelf-life management by reviewing market updates and ensuring actions are owned through supply review forums.
  • Identify and deliver process simplification and digitization opportunities (e.g., documentation streamlining, portal rationalization, automation, and controlled document updates), partnering with Compliance and stakeholders to implement sustainable improvements.
  • Support internal and external quality and finance audits, complete month-end reporting, and upload required documentation for finance review and verification.
  • Act as the market logistics representative in BMS, supply chain, and local forums, while supporting ad-hoc projects, programs, and cross-functional initiatives as required.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, supporting capability development, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture; ensure coverage planning for leave/peak periods to maintain service continuity.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:
