In this role, you'll:


Lead the operational delivery of identity management and licence integrity functions to ensure the security and reliability of the NSW driver licence program. You’ll oversee identity verification, licence security standards and investigations into fraud, ensuring robust evidentiary processes that support regulatory action and legal proceedings.

You will guide the use of contemporary technologies, including biometric and identity verification solutions, and work closely with law enforcement, fraud specialists and government agencies to strengthen proof-of-identity controls. Leading a specialist operational team, you’ll drive continuous improvement, uplift capability and ensure licensing integrity frameworks remain responsive to emerging risks and evolving policy settings.

About you


You are an experienced operational or regulatory leader with strong knowledge of identity management, investigations or compliance environments. You understand evidentiary requirements, legislative frameworks and the practical realities of delivering secure, high-volume public-facing services.

You are a pragmatic decision-maker who balances policy intent with operational realities. With strong stakeholder engagement skills and sound judgement, you lead with integrity, foster trust and guide teams through complex, sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
