Senior People Business Partner
A Senior People Business Partner (People BP) acts as a strategic advisor to senior and middle level leadership, aligning People initiatives with business goals to drive performance. They handle complex employee relations, talent management, organizational design, and change management while coaching leaders. Key duties include workforce planning, performance management, and leveraging HR analytics for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies (hiring, talent management) with business goals.
Talent Management & Coaching: Develop talent strategies, including succession planning and performance management
Coach leaders on organizational design and team development.
Employee Relations: Resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and mitigating risks.
Change Management: Act as a catalyst for organizational changes, driving employee engagement and facilitating transitions.
Data Analysis: Use HR metrics and data analytics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
Project Leadership: Lead and support HR projects such as diversity initiatives, compensation reviews, and performance management systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as an HRBP, with significant experience in employee relations, talent management, and coaching leaders.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the business’s functional areas and industry trends.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills.
Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze metrics to identify actionable insights.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are often required.
