The Senior Manager, HR Technology Solutions partners with the VP of HRTS to lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of HR technology platforms that support StandardAero's global workforce and business goals. This role oversees Talent Acquisition, SOX compliance, and other HR systems, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

Working closely with HR, IT, business leaders, and third-party providers, this role drives HR technology modernization, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include project and program leadership, system integrations, reporting, troubleshooting, testing, upgrades, process design, and people management.

Location: This position can be remote, hybrid, or on site. Winnipeg, MB or near another StandardAero facility is preferred

What You Will Do:

HR Technology Strategy & Governance

  • Define and lead aspects of the HR technology strategy and roadmap aligned with StandardAero’s business and people strategies related to Talent Acquisition, audits and compliance, the HRTS Service Desk, and other HR solutions.
  • Establish governance, standards, and operating models for related HR systems, data, integrations, and vendor management.
  • Serve as the primary HRTS focal point and SME, partnering with COE process owners, the VP of Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders for major HR technology initiatives and transformations.
  • Partner with peers for supporting other major applications and Fusion Modules.

Platform Ownership & Delivery

  • Own core HR platforms and supporting systems (e.g., talent acquisition, service management, etc.).
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and compliant system operations across global regions.
  • Oversee system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements, managing scope, risk, budget, and timelines.

Compliance and Audits

  • As a primary point of contact (POC), partner with the VP of HRTS, Compliance and IT leaders, HR leaders, and peers for IT General Controls such as Access Management, Segregation of Duties, and System Change Management.
  • Enable consistent, high-quality people data to support workforce planning, compliance, and executive decision-making.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a strategic advisor to HR leadership on technology-enabled solutions and process design.
  • Collaborate with IT on architecture, cybersecurity, and enterprise system alignment.

Financial & Vendor Management

  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, performance management, and renewals.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cost, reduce complexity, and improve return on investment.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Ensure strong change management, communications, and training to drive adoption of HR technologies.
  • Measure success through adoption metrics, user experience feedback, and business outcomes.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in HR, IT, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR technology experience, including 3+ years of leadership responsibility for enterprise HR systems, compliance, and transformation initiatives.
  • Specific experience with Talent Acquisition and SOX Compliance
  • Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.
  • Ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Experience leading complex technology solutions from concept through implementation.
  • Trusted advisor and SME for advanced projects, technical solutions, and business initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of global data standards, project/program management, and process improvement.
  • Experience with HR technology selection, compliance controls, and vendor management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across HR, IT, and business leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, including ORC/Talent Acquisition.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and information security standards.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, HRIS, change management).
