Job Description

In this role, you'll:


This role will see you lead governance and implementation of Health and Safety Management Systems across complex Sydney Metro projects, ensuring alignment with legislative, accreditation and organisational requirements.

You will provide visible, values‑based leadership, influencing contractors and stakeholders to embed a strong safety culture while managing competing priorities in a high‑risk, multi‑party infrastructure environment.

You will lead comprehensive risk management activities, including hazard identification, risk assessments, control verification and assurance, ensuring risks are managed SFAIRP and enabling informed, evidence‑based decision making.

About you


Tertiary qualifications in a relevant safety discipline (minimum Cert IV WHS or Rail Safety), with strong knowledge of WHS, RSNL, RIM frameworks and a minimum five years relevant experience.

You’re recognised as a credible and influential leader, skilled at building alignment, negotiating outcomes and driving accountability across complex stakeholder environments.


You bring extensive experience leading health and safety and risk management in major infrastructure or rail projects to achieve compliance, mitigate risk and deliver continuous improvement outcomes.
