Job Description

The Senior Manager, Group Marketing, Consumer Goods is accountable for leading and delivering end‑to‑end marketing and communications strategies, plans, and services for DKSH’s Business Unit Consumer Goods. The role acts as a strategic partner to the Business Unit leadership team, ensuring all marketing and communications activities are tightly aligned with Business Unit strategy, Group priorities, and business objectives. With a strong service mindset, the role ensures consistently high MarCom service quality, measurable impact, and stakeholder satisfaction across markets and business lines.

General Responsibilities

Strategy & leadership

  • Translate Group marketing, communications, and media strategy into clear, actionable Business Unit‑specific strategies and roadmaps
  • Develop and steer Business Unit marketing, internal communications, and media strategies and plans aligned with Business Unit objectives and Group‑wide initiatives
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to Business Unit leadership on all marketing and communications matters

Business partnership

  • Serve as a competent and hands‑on marketing and communications partner to the FMCG Own Brands business, supporting new product development and launches, brand development, positioning, and design, strategic and tactical marketing and communications initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with country organizations and business lines, proactively supporting them as a value‑adding business partner

Content, channels & storytelling

  • Lead the sourcing, development, and governance of high‑quality content across all relevant channels, including BU websites and digital platforms, social media, events, webinars, and campaigns, internal communications, newsletters, presentations, articles, success stories, thought leadership, and media content
  • Ensure consistent messaging, strong storytelling, and brand alignment across all touchpoints.

Reputation, issues & change

  • Develop and maintain robust crisis communications and issues‑management contingency plans.
  • Support communications related to M&A, integrations, and major business transformations.
  • Safeguard and strengthen the Business Unit’s reputation internally and externally.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in marketing, communications, and branding in B2B and/or B2C environments within multinational organizations. Experience in consumer goods and/or FMCG strongly preferred. Agency or consulting background is an advantage.
  • Outstanding English copywriting and editing skills; native or near‑native proficiency required
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and deliver high‑quality outcomes under tight timelines
  • Very strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Proven ability to work across functions, cultures, and organizational levels
  • Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking with a hands‑on, pragmatic execution mindset
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to operate independently and decisively
  • Highly service‑ and results‑oriented, with a strong performance mindset

Education

University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or a comparable discipline.
