In this position you will....
Manage centralized financial operations, focusing on account payable and treasury operations and evaluate day-to-day activities. These will include developing and implementing systems for analyzing, verifying and reporting all Treasury and Accounts payable information. The role will also require control and management of the new Treasury Management System from a Group Office and from a regional co-ordination perspective.
You will be responsible for…
Treasury Management:
- Oversee and manage daily treasury operations, across the Group, including payment processing and cash flow reporting
- Execute material wire transfers, manage group bank accounts and maintain relevant operational banking relationships
- Monitor and analyse near-term cash flow forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of all treasury transactions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues related to treasury operations
- Prepare and present regular reports / dashboards on cash flow and treasury management activities to Senior and Exec level management which incorporate any strategic transactions (whether current or planned).
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of treasury activities with overall business objectives
- Assist in developing and implementing relevant cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize financial risk, analyzing market trends and interest rate expectations, in all cases working with the Group Controller and Head of Commercial Finance.
- Maintaining the Treasury Management System with updates to ensure optimum performance and as first contact within the company for liaising with our external provider.
Accounts Payable:
- Oversee and manage the accounts payable operations across the Group, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices whilst managing the ageing of the AP book
- Resolve any issues related to accounts payable operations and maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Collaborate with outsourcing partners to ensure compliance with service level agreements and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable processes and metrics to identify areas for improvement and standardization
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable activities to senior management
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of accounts payable activities with overall business objectives
Other Responsibilities:
- Support and work together with the team to meet all accounting and finance reporting deadlines
- Liaise with auditors, governmental departments, and other external bodies
- Lead and mentor the AP and Treasury providing guidance and support for their development
- Maintain and update treasury and accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in treasury and payables management to improve efficiency
- Support Finance project implementation of system enhancements, roll outs and developments

You will require the following qualifications and skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance and accounting at management level
- Strong understanding of controls via audit experience
- Fluent communication and presentation in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work and communicate effectively with different departments
- Integrity, honesty, understanding of data privacy standard
- Change oriented with a digital and technology mindset
