Danish Crown Foods

DNK-Randers, Danish Crown Vej

Senior Manager, Global Demand Management

Do you want to lead and shape the global demand planning agenda in a complex, international food supply chain? Are you motivated by building strong planning capabilities, driving data-driven decision-making, and enabling high service performance across markets and categories? Then this position may be for you.

Shape the future of Global Demand Management
We are looking for a Senior Manager for Global Demand Management to lead the global demand planning agenda for Danish Crown Foods. In this role, you will steer demand forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment execution across markets and categories, ensuring a reliable, transparent, and cross-functionally aligned planning process that supports service, profitability, and strategic decision-making.

You will head a global team of Demand Planners and Replenishment Planners and play a central role in orchestrating the full demand management cycle – from short-term S&OE execution to long-horizon S&OP decision-making.

Your impact and responsibilities
This is a key role in getting our demand management to the next level. As a Senior Manager, you lead, develop, and inspire a team of planning specialists to deliver high-quality demand forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment execution. On top of that, you:

  • Define and execute the global Demand Management roadmap, strengthening processes, governance, and cross-functional engagement across markets
  • Drive the demand forecasting process, leveraging advanced analytics, AI models, and forecasting tools to improve forecast accuracy, reduce bias, and increase transparency
  • Design and lead data-driven demand reviews, providing robust insights that form the foundation for strategic and tactical supply chain decisions
  • Direct demand planning activities across markets, including seasonal planning, peak management and market/customer prioritization
  • Champion S&OP and S&OE frameworks, continuously improving structure, decision quality, and alignment across the value chain
  • Drive the weekly S&OE cycle in cooperation with Master Planning, ensuring timely short-term alignment, rapid issue resolution, and proactive mitigation of demand and supply risks
  • Manage demand–supply imbalances by aligning Sales, Supply Chain, and Production around constraints, trade-offs, and commitments
  • Translate planning performance, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities into clear, actionable decision material for senior leadership and executive forums
  • Oversee replenishment planning execution, ensuring stock availability and delivery performance consistently above 98%

How you create impact and lead others
You are a strong people leader with the ability to combine analytical depth with business understanding. You bring structure to complexity and create clarity in decision-making by turning data into insights that leaders can act on.

Collaboration and influence are critical to success in this role. You work cross-functionally partnering closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and Category teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and commitment. You thrive in a complex stakeholder landscape and build trust through clear communication, strong governance, and consistent delivery.

What we are looking for
You bring a solid foundation within demand planning, forecasting, S&OP/S&OE, and/or supply chain planning – preferably in FMCG or food production. On top of that, you have:

  • A relevant B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree within supply chain, economics, business, or similar.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead, develop and set direction for teams working with planning, analytics, or operational decision support
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience working with forecasting methods, analytics, and planning systems.
  • A solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics and how demand decisions impact service, inventory, capacity, and profitability.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience operating in senior leadership forums
  • Fluency in English
