Title
Senior Manager, Germany Retirement Content Marketing
Location Kronberg
Level Senior Manager

We are proud to have been helping our clients build better financial futures for over 50 years. How have we achieved this? By working together - and supporting each other - all over the world. So, join our EMEA Product & Content Marketing team and feel like you are part of something bigger.

Our clients come from all walks of life and so do we. We are proud of our inclusive culture and encourage applications from the widest mix of talent, whatever your age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, social background and more.

As a flexible employer, we trust our people to perform their role in the way that works best for them, our clients, and our business. We are a disability-friendly company and would welcome a conversation with you if you feel you might benefit from any reasonable adjustments to perform to the best of your ability during the recruitment process and beyond.

About your team

The Global Content Marketing team is responsible for planning, creating and delivering engaging investment content to support the commercial priorities of Fidelity’s Global business.

Our clients are a range of financial intermediaries and institutions across the major geographies of the EMEA& APAC regions. Working closely with colleagues from investment management and local sales and marketing teams, we provide our clients with product information, market insights and thought leadership content in a clear and compelling way.

About your role
This is a senior, content-led role focused on leading the development and delivery of retirement-focused content for the German market.

The successful candidate will create high-quality, commercially relevant content that supports the retirement campaign across wholesale, institutional, corporate pension, adviser and end-investor audiences. They will translate complex retirement, pension and investment topics into clear, engaging and locally relevant content in both German and English.

This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional writing, editorial judgement and content origination skills. The successful candidate must be able to originate content independently, shaping narratives and developing compelling materials without reliance on fully formed briefs.

The role is not a pure product specialist or technical investment role. It is a senior content writer position requiring the ability to interpret technical input, challenge and shape briefs, define the right narrative and produce high-quality content aligned to commercial objectives.

About you

The ideal candidate will combine exceptional writing skills with a practical understanding of the German retirement market. They will be confident producing content in both German and English and comfortable working across global content, local marketing and distribution teams.

They should be able to explain complex topics clearly, understand the needs of different client segments and help position Fidelity as a credible retirement partner in Germany. They should be equally comfortable developing original content ideas independently and responding to briefs from senior stakeholders.

For the right candidate at Senior Marketing Manager level, the role would require deeper stakeholder leadership, stronger strategic judgement and proven experience leading complex content programmes across multiple audiences and channels.

Key competencies

  • Exceptional German and English writing and editing skills
  • Content origination and editorial judgement
  • Retirement, pension and ideally investment knowledge
  • Commercial awareness and audience understanding
  • Stakeholder management and confident senior communication
  • Project management and delivery discipline
  • Ability to work from both detailed briefs and ambiguous business needs
  • Attention to detail and strong judgement under time pressure
  • Collaborative working style
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset

Feel rewarded

For starters, we will offer you a comprehensive benefits package. We will value your wellbeing and support your development. And we will be as flexible as we can about where and when you work – finding a balance that works for all of us. It’s all part of our commitment to making you feel motivated by the work you do and happy to be part of our team.
