Senior Manager – GBS Finance Planning & Performance Management FP&A
Location: Benguluru, Karnataka

Executive Role Overview
The Senior Manager will serve as the finance governance and performance lead for the broader GBS ecosystem, covering GCC India, GCC Mexico, all GBS zones and non-GCC components including NA, EPDM, WHQ, external vendor/tower ecosystems, and partners such as Genpact. This role is accountable for shaping and governing the end-to-end financial agenda across Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Latest Estimate (LE), management reviews, accounting alignment, true-ups, intercompany recharge, cross-zone cost transfers, and leadership-level financial bridges. The role operates as a strategic finance partner to center heads, GBS zone finance leaders, accounting, controllership, procurement, vendor leadership, and senior management, ensuring financial decisions are supported by robust governance, clear accountability, high-quality analysis, and transparent executive communication.

Executive Accountabilities

  • Strategic financial leadership: Own the financial planning, forecasting, and performance management agenda for the full GBS role scope, including GCC India, GCC Mexico, all GBS zones, NA, EPDM, WHQ, and vendor/tower operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, cost ownership, and leadership expectations.
  • Enterprise AOP, LE governance: Lead the AOP strategy and governance cycle, including target setting, budget architecture, cost center/package alignment, service cost assumptions, center-level sign-offs, upload readiness, and executive review outcomes, risk/opportunity visibility, and leadership commentary.
  • Executive business partnering: Partner directly with GCC center heads, GBS zone owners, NA, EPDM, WHQ, tower owners, and zone finance leadership to challenge assumptions, validate forecast movements, identify financial risks, and influence corrective actions.
  • Vendor and tower commercial oversight: Provide executive-level financial oversight of external vendors and tower partners, including Genpact, by validating commercial inputs, billing trends, service cost movements, commitments, and budget adherence.
  • Leadership reporting and storytelling: Shape GBS MBR, performance review, AOP/LE, and senior leadership materials by translating complex financial movements into concise insights, decisions required, risks, opportunities, and action plans.
  • Accounting governance and control: Provide senior oversight on accounting treatment, accruals, reclasses, true-ups, intercompany recharges, cost allocations, and cross-zone transfers to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and auditability.
  • People leadership and operating model ownership: Lead and develop the team supporting commercial management, invoice management, reporting, accruals, recharges, AOP uploads, LE updates, and project actuals, ensuring strong review mechanisms, resilience, and capability building.

Core Process Scope / Subordinate Activities

This role oversees the key finance operations supporting the broader GBS planning and reporting agenda, including GCC and non-GCC components across all GBS zones, NA, EPDM, WHQ, commercial management, PR/PO governance, vendor invoice validation, IC recharge, monthly accruals, and management reporting for GBS MBR. It also covers coordination of LE updates, NA Services Package AOP uploads, yearly tracker maintenance, and Tier 1 project actuals tracking to ensure accurate forecasting, budget control, cost allocation, and leadership visibility.

Experience Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA, CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience across FP&A, commercial finance, shared services finance, ZBB, GBS finance, GCC/non-GCC finance governance, vendor cost governance, or enterprise performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading executive communication to leadership on forecast movements, bridges, true-ups, financial exposures, mitigation actions, and decisions required.
  • AOP, LE, forecasting, close governance, variance analysis, intercompany recharge, accruals, and management reporting across multiple regions and senior stakeholder groups.
  • Proven ability to partner across GCCs, broader GBS organizations, non-GCC zones, NA, EPDM, WHQ, vendor towers, and outsourced service providers such as Genpact in a complex global operating model.
  • Track record of leading teams, influencing senior stakeholders, strengthening financial controls, improving governance, and driving transformation in planning and reporting processes.
