• Responsible for conducting CA reviews to ensure all accounting treatments comply with relevant accounting standards and Group and local policies.
• Assist to interpret accounting standards and regulatory updates, and adjust the company’s accounting practices, accordingly, providing professional recommendations.
• Responsible for analysing accounting treatments on complex products or structures, identifying potential risks, and proposing improvement measures.
Risk Management
• Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies.
• Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities.
• Perform job duties with diligence, contribute to efforts as an individual or as a team member so as to avoid any actual or potential legal sanctions, regulatory penalties, material financial loss, or adverse reputational impact on the Bank

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
• Training: 10+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry:
• Experienced in consumer banking products accounting, booking models, performance analysis and management, particularly in the markets related products and complex product structures.
• Sound understanding of IFRS and CAS accounting standards requirements, business analysis techniques, risk management methodologies, project management techniques.
• A high degree of integrity and ability to challenge the views and actions of others in a constructive manner.
• Prior experience in managing senior-level business stakeholders.
• Languages: Written and Verbal Proficiency in mandarin and English
