About the role

We are seeking a strategic and analytically strong finance leader based in India to support the U.S. Oncology business. This role will serve as a key business partner to U.S.-based finance, brand, and cross-functional leaders, providing insight into brand performance, forecasting, planning, and decision support. The Senior Manager will translate complex market, revenue, and expense dynamics into clear recommendations that enable sound business decisions and strong financial execution in a global, matrixed environment.

What you'll do

  • Partner with Oncology brand, sales, and business leaders to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner closely with U.S.-based Oncology Finance, brand, and cross-functional leaders to support planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making.
  • Operate effectively in a global team structure, including regular collaboration across India and U.S. time zones to support business priorities, planning cycles, and shared deliverables.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the oncology market, competitive landscape, pricing and reimbursement dynamics, and key revenue and cost drivers.
  • Lead or support monthly close activities, including financial review, variance analysis, and issue identification and resolution.
  • Own or support sales and expense forecasting, annual operating plan development, and long-range planning activities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline forecasting, reporting, and planning processes through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance tools, reporting, and workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and business insight.
  • Build and maintain complex business and financial models to evaluate scenarios, risks, opportunities, and investment decisions.
  • Analyze actual results against forecast, explain variances clearly, and communicate implications to senior management and business partners.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise written and verbal presentations with actionable recommendations for leadership audiences.
  • Collaborate across global and cross-functional teams, including Pricing, Contracting, Forecasting, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, Corporate FP&A, Investor Relations, and other partners.
  • Provide leadership and financial support on multiple initiatives and ad hoc projects across the Oncology business.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications

  • Doctorate degree and 4+ years of progressive finance experience; OR
  • Master's degree and 8+ years of progressive finance experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of progressive finance experience; OR

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA and/or CA preferred
  • Financial Planning & Analysis experience, including revenue forecasting
  • Biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry experience with exposure to sales and marketing finance
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Hyperion experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and the ability to think critically and challenge assumptions
  • Executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Experience working in a global matrixed environment, including support of U.S.-based stakeholders and cross-time-zone collaboration
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment
