- Lead the finance function for the designated power projects and operations, ensuring robust financial controls and adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial strategies that support the company’s short-term and long-term business objectives
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities to provide accurate insights and support decision-making processes for senior leadership
- Manage working capital, liquidity, and cash flow to optimize financial health and operational efficiency of power plants and associated projects
- Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reporting, ensuring transparency and adherence to corporate governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, operations, legal, and commercial departments to align financial goals and mitigate risks
- Evaluate and recommend financing options, investment opportunities, and capital expenditure plans to maximize returns and manage cost effectively
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence aligned with Adani’s values
- Interface with banks, financial institutions, regulators, and external auditors to ensure smooth financial operations and timely reporting.
- Champion the adoption of digital finance tools and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timely reporting.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, variance analysis, and management commentary to the Board and executive committees.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and financial efficiency programs to enhance profitability while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to GST, Income Tax, and other relevant financial statutory requirements specific to the power and energy sector
- Support business development initiatives by providing due diligence, financial feasibility analysis, and risk assessment
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to proactively manage financial risks and opportunities
- Promote Adani’s commitment to sustainability by integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) considerations into financial planning and reporting.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant / MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.
B.com / MBA or any relevant graduation.
