Responsible for ensuring facility security and the smooth operation of infrastructure systems/equipment, production equipment/machines, and processes related to site security, safety, health, and environmental compliance.

Lead and oversee a cross-functional team of technical professionals, defining the strategic direction and aligning team efforts to achieve business, functional, team, and individual objectives.

- Technical consult to the site General Manager for all aspects related to the functions.

- Stay updated and current with all key related requirements such as country legislature, technical specifications, codes of practices etc.

- Oversee functional CAPEX and OPEX budgets.

- Government liaison to follow-up with application of permits and ensure accuracy.

- Ensure all respective personnel are equipped with valid competency certificates in compliance with regulatory and customer's requirements.

- Champion, coach and mentor continuous improvement projects.

- Responsible for key decision making in all plant equipment and machinery activities considering both operation and functional requirements.

- Ensure all system defects are identified, responded to, rectified, and recorded

as required.

- Maintaining and improving plant capability, reliability, and efficiency through

cost effective engineering solutions and early equipment failure detection.

- Ensure business continuity across functions.

- Ensuring effective management and security of on-site technical records,

OEM documentation, quality management documents and other records as

required.

- Manage the development and implementation of the approved budget for the

Department.

- Work in partnership with the other teams in the Market to support new projects

and upgrades to improve the availability, reliability and efficiency of the plan

and maximize margins for the Company.

- Manage major A&A and M&E projects to drive future site relevancy.

- Drive reductions in environmental footprint.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.]

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
