We’re seeking a Senior Manager, ESG Reporting to join the team and this role sits in the Controllership Team function, itself part of Finance, a global team responsible for leading internal and external financial reporting, controls oversight, forecasting, stress testing and other key finance functions.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate delivery of evolving ESG disclosure requirements, initially focused on HKEX-mandated ISSB standards noting responsibilities include, but not limited to, leading Materiality assessment for Group reporting in line with ISSB and CSRD, Asset Management related disclosures, ISSB or CSRD implementation related ad hoc activities.
  • Coordinate inputs across Finance and partner Businesses and Functions to produce external disclosures
  • Design, execute and document reporting processes and controls to ensure disclosures are consistent, accurate and well-governed
  • Drive continuous improvement—identify opportunities to streamline, automate and improve reporting (including use of AI where appropriate)
  • Support governance forums and committee updates
  • Support internal and external auditor assurance activity over relevant disclosures
  • Partner with Group Regulatory Policy on consultation responses and support implementation of other related regulations where required

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven track record in Finance, with experience delivering high-quality external disclosures or leading other finance areas
  • Knowledge of ESG reporting regulations (e.g. ISSB standards, CSRD) is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to write clear papers for senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across a global organisation
  • Strong collaboration and people management skills, and confidence working independently
  • Learning agility and ability to deliver under pressure
  • Control mindset and experience operating well-governed reporting processes.
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
