We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Manager Enterprise Risk This role will report to the Executive Manager Risk and Assurance.

A bit about your role

As the Senior Manager Enterprise Risk, you will play a critical role in strengthening how nbn understands, manages and responds to risk across the enterprise. You will lead the development and ongoing uplift of enterprise risk management practices, ensuring frameworks, policies and risk appetite are consistently embedded and aligned with our responsibilities as a critical infrastructure provider.

In this role, you will act as a trusted adviser, enabling informed and balanced decision‑making through the identification, assessment and communication of strategic, operational and emerging risks. You will foster a proactive risk culture, guiding leaders and teams to understand and embrace their shared accountability for effective risk management.

You will also drive improvements in risk data, systems and reporting, championing the use of the GRC platform to deliver clear, high‑quality insights to Executives, Committees and the Board. Through your leadership on clarity, consistency and continuous improvement, you will help strengthen risk maturity across nbn.

A bit about you

You bring deep enterprise risk experience gained within complex, regulated or critical infrastructure environments, alongside a strong understanding of strategic, commercial and operational risk. You have a proven ability to build trust and influence at senior levels, complemented by a naturally collaborative approach. Your ability to connect people, insights and data enables you to provide clear, practical advice that supports confident decision‑making while maintaining strong governance. You are motivated by creating an environment where people feel supported to engage openly with risk and take accountability.

If you have experience with GRC platforms and an interest in enhancing risk insights and data quality, this will be highly valued. You bring a continuous improvement mindset and a genuine commitment to uplifting enterprise capability.
