What will you do?

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Reporting & Analytics will own company‑wide business reporting, anchored in D365, and will lead the design, implementation, and management of the company-wide business reporting capability. This role will lead the Enterprise Reporting and Analytics workstream during the D365 implementation, partnering closely with business leaders to define reporting standards, design future‑state reporting processes, and establish a trusted, governed, and scalable reporting environment.

Following D365 go‑live, this role transitions into ongoing ownership of company business reporting, ensuring reporting solutions are effectively adopted, continuously improved, and sustainably operated. Leveraging platforms such as Snowflake and Power BI, the Senior Manager will enable consistent, reliable, and actionable insights across Finance and the broader organization, supporting data‑driven decision‑making at all levels of the company.

FP&A and this role would own the enterprise reporting product, working closely with the Technology/Data teams who own the platform and engineering to deliver the requisite dashboards required by the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Reporting Design and Implementation

  • Lead the Enterprise Reporting & Analytics workstream as part of the D365 transformation, embedding reporting requirements into system architecture, data structures and finance processes.
  • Define the company-wide reporting strategy, including standard financial, management and operational reporting principles aligned with business needs and finance governance.
  • Review and assess current-state reporting processes and legacy tools to identify risks and opportunities for process streamlining and standardization.
  • Partner closely with business leaders including IT, Finance, Merchandising, Digital and Marketing and external system integrators to translate business reporting requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
  • Devise reporting solutions that are performant, scalable and audit-ready, shifting to sustainable automation and tools.

Reporting Process Ownership and Governance

  • Own day-to-day company-wide business reporting operations (e.g., reporting calendar, content accuracy, KPI definitions, certification, and user support) and coordinate with Technology/Data teams for platform monitoring, data refresh reliability, and incident resolution per agreed SLAs.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure reporting is trusted, consistent and fit for company decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain clear reporting governance, including reporting ownership, certification and cataloging, KPI definitions, business glossary maintenance, change intake and prioritization, quality standards and approval processes.
  • Work closely with the stakeholders of the 3 other workstreams: Data Governance, Data Integrations and Data Validation, Testing and Cleansing to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment with statutory and management reporting requirements.
  • Translate the company reporting strategy to clear reporting priorities, including dashboards, KPIs and standard reports.
  • Oversee design and development of certified Power BI datasets and reports.
  • Manage reporting backlogs and priorities in an Agile delivery model.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Plan and lead change management for designing and implementing new reporting processes, tools, and standards to drive strong adoption.
  • Develop training, documentation, and adoption strategies to transition users to new tools.
  • Partner with Finance leadership and key stakeholders to reinforce consistent reporting practices and behaviours across the organization.

Financial and Management Reporting

  • Prepare and oversee core financial and management reporting, including period-end, P&L reporting, margin analysis, and variance reporting
  • Deliver performance reporting such as store-level sales, margin, and inventory to overall financial performance
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of business reporting outputs that support statutory, tax and audit requirements, in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Manage dashboard with all operational and financial reporting and key metrics from all data sources

Continuous Improvement & Capability Expansion

  • Prepare and drive a continuous improvement roadmap, identifying opportunities to:
    • Expand self-service analytics
    • Enhance executive insights
    • Retire redundant legacy reports
    • Progress automation
    • Advance analytical depth
  • Explore and assess opportunities to expand business reporting capabilities, including use of Snowflake, Power BI, advanced analytics and integrating future D365 reporting enhancements.
  • Monitor emerging reporting tools and best practices to advance reporting maturity.

Leadership and Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted senior partner to business leaders across the company, including, FP&A, and IT, providing decision-ready reporting, clear KPI definitions, and recommendations on reporting priorities, governance, and performance insights.
  • Enable internal capability through documentation, training, and mentorship of analysts and power users.
  • Prepare executive-level materials, updates and recommendations relating to company reporting strategy and performance

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8–12+ years’ experience in enterprise reporting, BI, analytics, or finance systems (Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations preferred)
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related field
  • Proven experience leading large-scale reporting or ERP-adjacent transformations
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Power BI (datasets, DAX, security, performance) and working with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure)
  • Solid understanding of finance and management reporting concepts, including P&L structure, margin analysis, and how financial results flow from store-level operations to consolidated reporting.
  • Proven experience reading and interpreting P&Ls
  • Retail, wholesale, multi-entity, or consumer business experience and a genuine appreciation for what makes retail reporting complex.

Compensation:

The targeted salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000annually. The final offer will be based on factors such as market location, relevant skills,experienceand internal equity.
