About this role

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Business Systems reports to the Associate Director of Digital Technologies for Refrigeration Americas. The position is responsible for partnering with Business leaders to deploy and sustain digital solutions in the areas of manufacturing, sales, marketing, CPQ, and service. They will implement the most efficient business processes and systems to meet or exceed business goals and objectives while aligning with the Carrier corporate digital strategies. He/she will act as the integration layer between the business, Corporate DT, Centers of Excellence (COE), and third-party suppliers in order to deliver a seamless solution. The primary technologies will be and JD Edwards and Salesforce, however there will be responsibility for other applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT contact for all ERP issues and requests
• Work with business user and consultant teams to define, document, test and deliver business process requirements so expected results are attained from the JD Edwards software as installed.
• Maintain effective communication with assigned functional business areas, primarily Finance, to ensure that their information system’s needs are met. Provide application support to business users.
• Partners with the business community to identify opportunities for logical and procedural improvement beyond the ERP scope. This could include process improvement, system selection, and strategic development.
• Assists in resolving technical problem reports in the production environments.
• Provide support to end users to resolve problems/issues & identify means to prevent future re-occurrences
• Work closely with support suppliers and provide tier 2 level support as needed
• Execute all projects in compliance with Transicold’s SDLC methodology and passport process
• Assess and maintain processes and applications to ensure compliance with internal security policies and conform with Carrier Sarbanes Oxley requirements
• Implementation of Carrier Corporate technology standards and technology refresh

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of ERP implementation experience, including gathering business requirements, configuration, functional specification and testing.
• 7+ years of JDE EnterpriseOne experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant experience with ERP systems roll-outs, business process re-engineering, conducting user training and providing on-going ERP systems support
• Experience in Distribution/Manufacturing industry preferred
• Salesforce experience a plus
• Demonstrated success working in a team environment and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and in different geographic locations
• Exceptional communication and organization skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong project management skills and experience
• Third-party, offshore supplier oversight
• Strong focus on customer service and support
• Self-motivated, self-reliant and capable of independent work
• Able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment
