Job Description

The Customer Content Services team is looking for a Senior Manager to lead multiple teams of engineers and supporting roles to deliver digital and AI experiences for Red Hat customers, users, and partners. A successful candidate in this role will have an understanding of the important role leadership plays and have experience with direct management for a broad set of roles and mentoring multiple teams, contributing to the overall strategy and vision of the department. The successful candidate will need to balance management activities (e.g., assessing performance, fostering teamwork, growth) with a strategic mindset to help align the team with corporate objectives. This role is pivotal in translating strategic direction into tactical work, is responsible for setting operational objectives for the teams, and will delegate tasks to ensure the achievement of medium-term goals.

Experience with digital and AI experiences and leading transformations, change management, solution-minded thinking, team building, and delivering results will be key to helping move the teams forward. Developing relationships across the business will also help the team with future needs.

What you will do:

  • Develop and manage medium-term objectives for multiple teams

  • Translate strategy into tactical plans, driving successful execution

  • Lead multiple teams of managers and senior contributors, ensuring they meet operational goals

  • Anticipate and address complex issues affecting teams

  • Contribute to the broader organizational strategy by collaborating with senior leadership

  • Ensure teams understand the business strategy, are invested in departmental goals, and how their goals align to the company strategy

  • Set expectations for success and resolve issues, conflicts in day to day work

  • Performance/developmental coaching for multiple role types

  • Lead team through changes

  • Develop key relationships with stakeholders and peers

  • Foster a connected and resilient team

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience with leading or working with teams consisting of multiple types of roles or tasks

  • 2+ years people management and leadership experience

  • Strong change leadership experience

  • Experience with transformation projects preferred

  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading people in a collaborative environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to collaborate with teams from other regions of the world

  • Experience with and passion for guiding change and continual improvement

  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing LLMs (e.g., Google Gemini), as relevant, for tasks such as brainstorming solutions, deep research, summarizing technical documentation, drafting communications, summarizing complex technical information, and enhancing problem-solving efficiency across the development lifecycle.

The salary range for this position is $183,180.00 - $311,320.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
