You may have been part of some big projects before, but this work is legacy-building.
You’re called upon to help decision makers identify the options that best match their objectives. This is your opportunity to deliver exceptional services to the people of NSW, create innovative solutions, and foster strong partnerships.
In this role, you'll:
You’ll will provide energy management and energy infrastructure expertise to various energy, electrification, and/or decarbonisation projects. A key program will be the NSW Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) Project, a government-led initiative aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable transportation in the state.
This project was launched in response to growing concerns about air pollution and the impact of fossil fuel-powered vehicles on the environment. The NSW government has committed to a significant investment in zero-emissions buses to address these challenges and support the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable transportation system.
Focus areas will include electrical grid upgrades and new connections, clean energy technologies, energy project development, and utility (DNSP) interaction.
You’ll act as a conduit between project stakeholders, the Energy Management team at Transport for NSW, and other stakeholders across NSW Government or industry to ensure strategic alignment and ensure value for money outcomes are achieved.
This permanent position is located at the Elizabeth Street office in Sydney CBD. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance at the Elizabeth Street office and approved remote working. Occasional site visits may be required depending on project needs.
