Organization: Siemens Limited: Smart Infrastructure – RC IN SI EP
Mode of employment: Full time only
Functional Area: EHS.
This position is responsible for leading BU EHS function in SI EP India and will report to RC IN SI EP BU Head and functionally to the RC IN SI EHS
Areas of Responsibility:
• Support the EP BU Head in maintaining an effective EHS Management System with processes for effective planning, organization, control, monitoring, review, and maintenance of the preventive and corrective measures.
• Provide guidance in implementing Country EHS strategies & objectives, procedures & guidelines.
• Identification & implementation of EHS legislation and other EHS related obligations.
• Ensure that internal and external EHS assessments are undertaken including certification from external certifying bodies.
• Integrate EHS guidelines into the Business processes.
• Ensure adequate competence management and system of EHS training.
• Implementation of EHS related risk management processes in Factories, projects (Services & solutions) and products and ensure mitigation measures using appropriate hierarchy of Controls.
• Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are recorded, reported, and investigated with identification of root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain and foster collaboration with RC IN SI EHS, RC IN EHS and Global EP EHS, BU stakeholders and other BU EHS Officers.
• Ensures adequate EHS related communication towards internal and external stakeholders and authorities.
• Maintain EHS Organization and improve competency by driving professional and personal development of all EHS team members.
• Drive and implement EHS practices in SI EP Service business.

Experience:
• Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience of handling EHS in manufacturing & Project Management activities leading teams, having intercultural experience etc.
Education :
• Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferably).
• Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety approved by State Board of Technical Education.
• Undergone Lead Auditors Course in ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
