What will your day look like?

As a Senior Manager, Diversified Credit (Retail SME), you are accountable for:

• Leading the Retail SME team within Diversified Credit, managing credit decisions and portfolio quality outcomes across the portfolio.
• Driving stakeholder engagement and contributing to governance forums to influence risk outcomes.
• Building team capability through coaching, mentoring, and improving credit proposal quality.
• Ensuring compliance, risk culture, and effective portfolio monitoring and reporting.

• Takes a portfolio view, proactively monitoring trends, concentrations and emerging risks, and ensuring individual credit decisions collectively align to portfolio quality, risk appetite and forward‑looking performance.
• Demonstrates an open‑minded and adaptable approach, with the ability to think differently about how we work. Demonstrated ability to readily pivot and adjust style, thinking and judgement to evolving business needs and credit contexts and to align with ANZ's 2030 Strategy.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management capability along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills.
• Leads others through change with clarity and conviction, fostering a positive, open mindset and helping teams adapt confidently to evolving business and risk environments.
• Advanced credit assessment, decision -making (CAD), and portfolio risk management capability.
• Leads others through change with clarity and conviction, fostering a positive, open mindset and helping teams adapt confidently to evolving business and risk environments.
• Strong analytical, problem -solving, and prioritisation skills and ability to manage complex credit scenarios.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of writing Executive level papers.
