In this role, you'll:
work within the People, Communication and Workplaces Division, as part of the Transport Shared Services Branch.
You’ll lead the strategy and future direction for Transport’s digital records systems — setting long‑term roadmaps and driving modernisation across our EDRMS environment. You’ll also oversee the RFP and business case process, ensuring we secure the right solutions and partners for Transport. You’ll manage the performance, compliance and resilience of our digital records systems, ensuring they meet statutory and audit requirements. You’ll guide improvements, integrations and upgrades, and explore opportunities through new and emerging technologies, including AI and Microsoft Purview.
Most importantly, you’ll bring a strategic, enterprise-wide, holistic lens, leading a small team of (7) to deliver reliable, user‑focused records services — bringing clarity ,collaboration and purpose to everything you do.
This role is based in Burwood, with travel to other offices (Macquarie Park and Paramatta) and flexible hybrid work options to support balance and productivity . For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack.

You’re someone who brings deep experience in digital records systems, enterprise information management and technology‑supported governance. You understand the importance of well‑designed records systems in a complex organisation, and you’re confident navigating both the detail and the strategy.
You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and enjoy helping others understand the “why” behind good recordkeeping. You’re tech savvy, skilled at translating complex technical concepts into practical, people‑focused solutions.You’re also a leader who builds capability — coaching, mentoring and developing your team to deliver great work. You’re curious, future‑focused and comfortable exploring emerging technologies and innovative approaches to records management.
