Job Description

The Head of Digital Marketing will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing and omnichannel initiatives to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement across the company’s medical devices portfolio. This role demands a strong grasp of digital marketing fundamentals, leadership in digital transformation, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. The role will need to develop a deep understanding of healthcare marketing and regulatory compliance. While healthcare experience is valued, we welcome candidates from other industries, especially those with experience marketing to professionals apart from healthcare workers (e.g., engineers, CAs, lawyers, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Drive digital transformation to enhance customer experience and engagement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to ensure alignment and impact.

  • Campaign Management

  • Plan and implement omnichannel campaigns across web, social media, email, paid media, and automation platforms.

  • Oversee content strategy and development tailored to healthcare stakeholders (e.g., clinicians, hospital administrators, patients).

  • Ensure campaigns meet healthcare regulatory requirements.

  • Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor KPIs and ROI across digital channels; provide actionable insights.

  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Adobe Experience Manager, Google Analytics) to drive data-informed decisions.

  • Conduct A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and audience segmentation.

  • Team & Vendor Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing digital marketing team.

  • Manage relationships with digital agencies, media partners, and technology vendors to deliver results.

  • Innovation & Trends

  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies across industries.

  • Identify and pilot emerging platforms (e.g., AI, AR/VR, telehealth, personalization engines) to enhance engagement and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.

  • Proven experience with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Adobe, Google Ads).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of performance metrics and data interpretation.

  • Experience in global or multi-regional marketing is a plus.

Preferred Experience

  • Sectoral Experience: Experience in industries where marketing is targeted to professionals (e.g., healthcare, education, legal, financial services).

  • Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences marketing is a strong advantage.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., FDA, HIPAA, MDR) is preferred but not mandatory.
