As part of this journey, we are strengthening our Global Climate & Energy team and we are looking for a (Senior) Manager - Decarbonization to play a pivotal role in advancing our climate strategy.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of decarbonization strategy, Scope 3 transformation, and carbon economics, directly shaping Yara’s transition towards low-carbon products and value chains.
The Global Climate & Energy (GC&E) team is part of YGP. GC&E is responsible for driving Yara’s global decarbonization efforts across its production system and upstream supply chain. The department is the main competence center for climate and energy topics and it leads four critical programs across Yara:
- GHG Program - Decarbonizing our upstream value chain
- Climate Risk Program - Managing physical & transition risks
- Carbon Footprint Management Program - Quantifying product carbon footprints and governing chain-of-custody approaches
- Energy Management Program Driving energy efficiency across production sites
