Job Description

At Fresenius Kabi, we are committed to life — and to transforming our global data landscape to enable better decisions, smoother operations, and more compliant processes. To drive our global transformation forward, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Harmonization & Data Cleansing who will lead our efforts to align, clean, and govern master data across multiple systems, countries, and business units.

In this role, you will actively shape our enterprise-wide approach to SAP master data, data quality, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with IT, business, and compliance stakeholders to ensure clean, consistent, and fit-for-purpose data — creating the foundation for successful ERP rollouts and long-term digital success.

Your Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Governance

  • Define and implement data governance frameworks that safeguard data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across the global organization.

  • Develop and execute SAP master data strategies, aligning with global business needs and digital transformation programs.

  • Establish standards for master data management (MDM) and oversee their execution across business units.

Harmonization & Cleansing

  • Lead global data harmonization and cleansing initiatives, ensuring alignment across business units, regions, and systems.

  • Identify data inconsistencies, root causes, and mitigation strategies — and drive timely remediation.

  • Monitor and improve data quality KPIs, launching continuous improvement initiatives where needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define common data structures, taxonomies, and business rules.

Program & Compliance Support

  • Ensure that data processes and migrations meet all GxP, SOx, Privacy, and industry-specific compliance requirements.

  • Support data migration and transformation efforts for large-scale ERP rollouts — including projects with 80+ implementations in parallel.

  • Contribute to global rollout programs by providing expertise on data quality, compliance, and harmonization.

  • Report regularly to senior leadership on data quality improvements, project progress, and risk mitigation measures.

Stakeholder & Change Enablement

  • Build strong partnerships with IT, compliance, data owners, and business leads to align priorities and resolve cross-functional data issues.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners supporting data cleansing or migration services.

  • Provide training, guidance, and coaching to teams across functions to promote data ownership and long-term quality.

Your Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in data harmonization, cleansing, and governance — ideally in regulated industries like Pharma, Life Sciences, or Healthcare

  • Proven expertise in SAP master data and integration with global ERP systems.

  • Deep knowledge of compliance regulations including GxP, SOx, and Privacy standards

  • Experience leading or contributing to large-scale global ERP implementations

Skills & Mindset

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable navigating complexity and driving structure into global programs.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an intercultural context.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are a plus.

  • Self-driven, collaborative, and solution-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
