About this role

The Senior Manager, Data Center Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) - Valves & Tubing, is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Valves & Tubing commodity strategy and execution supporting Data Center product industrialization and customer delivery. This leader ensures component readiness across the product lifecycle, from design release and supplier industrialization through production ramp-up, capacity scaling, field deployment, and operational performance.

Serving as the single point of accountability for Valves & Tubing supply and business execution, the Senior Manager leads cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Development, Materials Planning, and Program Management to ensure customer commitments, launch milestones, capacity requirements, quality targets, and cost objectives are achieved.

Leveraging deep Valves & Tubing commodity expertise, this role develops and executes sourcing, capacity, and technology strategies that enable rapid scaling of Data Center operations while mitigating supply, quality, and business continuity risks. The Senior Manager drives supplier readiness, long-range capacity planning, engineering change execution, and operational recovery actions to support the delivery of finished goods to customers on time, at quality, and at cost.

The role influences decision-making across organizational boundaries, provides visibility into risks and opportunities, and accelerates issue resolution to ensure the successful execution of business growth plans and industrialization objectives.

Key Responsibilities

CIPT Leadership & Governance

• Lead the dedicated the Valves & Tubing CIPT and manage the cross-functional team consisting of sourcing, materials, engineering, quality, production, aftermarket, etc.
• Establish clear accountability for component performance across the value chain.
• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews.
• Drive governance and risk escalation processes.

Business Performance Management

Own performance management against component-level KPIs including:

• Engineering Readiness.
• Design completion.
• BOM release completion.
• Validation plan execution.

Manufacturing Performance

• OEE.
• Production attainment.
• Capacity utilization.
• Build turnbacks.

Supply Chain Performance

• Supplier capacity readiness.
• On-time delivery.
• Clear-to-build status.
• Multi-sourcing coverage.

Quality Performance

• FPY.
• Supplier PPM.
• Customer PPM.
• Corrective action closure.

Financial Performance

• Cost versus target.
• Productivity savings.
• Inventory optimization.
• Working capital performance.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable leader for Valves & Tubing readiness, ensuring delivery, quality, capacity, and cost objectives are achieved.
• Translate business objectives into executable supply chain, engineering, and operational plans.
• Drive strategic sourcing and industrialization decisions to enable rapid scaling and competitive advantage.
• Lead and influence a matrixed Integrated Product Team composed of Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Supplier Development, Materials Planning, and Program Management resources.
• Establish clear metrics and governance mechanisms to identify risks early and drive recovery actions.
• Balance short-term execution needs with long-term strategic investments to support sustained growth.
• Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and operational discipline.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in at least two of the following three disciplines: ( Operations / Manufacturing or Supply Chain / Sourcing / Supplier Development or Program Management / Product Industrialization)
• 5+ years of leadership experience leading cross-functional teams, programs, or business initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
• Commodity expertise – 1+ years’ experience with rotating equipment, refrigeration components, motors, cooling systems, or other strategic electromechanical commodities as an engineer or supply chain leader.
• Market expertise – 2+ years’ experience in HVAC, data center, or heavy industrial industries.
