What’s the role?

You’ll step into a role that sits at the heart of how we understand and manage credit risk across the Group. You’ll design, refine and evolve our IRB credit risk models, including PD, LGD and EAD, helping shape how we make informed credit decisions now and into the future.

You’ll work full time in a hybrid environment from Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country, collaborating closely with a wide mix of stakeholders across Group Risk, Data, Finance and more.

Your days will be spent building and enhancing models, supporting validation activities, providing analytical insights and championing smarter ways of working with data, tools and governance. You’ll also play a role in supporting the growth and development of team members in the Credit Risk Modelling team.

It’s meaningful work with a real impact on how we keep our customers, our teams and the organisation safe.

What do I need?

• Strong experience in credit risk modelling, including PD, LGD and EAD

• Understanding of credit risk data, analytics and core modelling concepts

• Proficiency with analytical tools such as SAS, Python or R

• Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to collaborate, simplify complexity and deliver outcomes
