In this role you'll

  • Lead the development and delivery of Community and Stakeholder Engagement strategic narratives
  • Champion a unified, insight-driven storytelling approach that connects services and projects to Transport’s broader impact and benefits
  • Oversee and provide creative and strategic direction to the Narrative, Social Media and Visual Engagement teams
  • Drive alignment across Transport to ensure consistent messaging and narrative
  • Embed Aboriginal outcomes and culturally informed storytelling approaches that reflect Transport’s commitment to respect, inclusion and representation.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior executive on narrative positioning, key messaging, and communication opportunities.
  • Use data, insights and sentiment analysis to inform storytelling and social media priorities

About you

You are a strong leader who sees the bigger picture; because of this you can create and implement a cohesive narrative about how things fit together to form something greater than the sum of its parts. You have strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to use data and insights to measure and improve communication effectiveness. You build strong relationships that create real trust.

ANSTO is one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and custodian of much of our country’s important science infrastructure, including the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Australian Synchrotron, accelerators, cyclotrons and neutron beam instruments.
