Job Description

As a Senior Manager of Cost Planning at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial landscape of our ambitious projects. This position will involve close coordination with cross-functional teams to develop strategic cost management initiatives that align with the company's goals of creating a world-class destination for entertainment, sports, and arts in Saudi Arabia.

Your ability to analyze cost structures, develop comprehensive cost plans, and challenge assumptions will be essential for successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cost planning processes, an eye for detail, and the capacity to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of comprehensive cost plans and ensure they align with project objectives and timelines.
• Manage a team of cost specialists and external consultants in producing accurate cost estimates.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed reports for stakeholders, providing insights into cost performance and budget forecasts.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment on cost management strategies across projects.
• Monitor project expenditures and variance analysis, ensuring that corrective actions are taken as necessary.
• Implement best practices in cost planning and provide training to team members.
• Build effective relationships with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate comprehensive cost planning.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in cost planning or quantity surveying, preferably in large-scale development projects.
• Proficient knowledge of cost management software and tools.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex cost information to various audiences.
• Professional accreditation from recognized institutions (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is preferred.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian market or GCC region is a significant advantage.
