Hiring Position: Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy (Japanese Speaking)

Location: Singapore

Working Condition: Hybrid (3 days at the office, 2 days remote)

Reporting to: Chief Strategy Officer

Compensation: SGD 20,000 23,000 per month

Relocation Bonus: USD 10,000 (one-time)

Note: This is a new, individual contributor role.

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy (Japanese Speaking), to play a pivotal role in advancing corporate engagements as the company works toward a future public listing.

This client-facing position requires a highly skilled professional who can effectively represent the company to external stakeholders and contribute strategically to corporate growth initiatives.

The Senior Manager will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer (a team of two for now) and will be responsible for:

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the company's mid- to long-term corporate strategy.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing high-impact interactions with the buy-side and sell-side communities.
  • Conducting primary research on market benchmarks and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Crafting compelling marketing and investor materials for both internal and external audiences.
  • Driving strategic initiatives, including preparations for public listing, as well as potential acquisitions and divestments.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with external vendors to strengthen the company's positioning as a leading digital financial services platform.

Requirements:

  • Nationality: Japanese, with strong proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
  • Experience: 7+ years in investor relations, equity research, equity sales, fundraising, or other client-facing sell-side roles.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficient in MS Office.
    • Strong understanding of the financial services or investment banking sector; open to candidates from adjacent industries.
  • Characteristics:
    • Young, energetic talent preferred.
    • Ability to present both themselves and the company very well.
    • Execution-oriented, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Attributes of Hiring Panel: They value logical thinking, people-oriented collaboration, and an international mindset.

Interview Process:

  • First Round: Interview with the Chief Strategy Officer (preferably face-to-face, but online is possible).
  • Final Round: Interview with the CEO (face-to-face preferred, with online as an option).
