Job Description

In this role you’ll

  • Play a critical leadership role in developing and delivering strategic frameworks, initiatives and operating models that enable asset management and asset information continuous improvement across Transport for NSW.
  • Focus on improving business process and asset management requirements, ensuring long-term effectiveness and value for money across all transport modes.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic frameworks, initiatives and operating models to support integrated service delivery and asset management.
  • Support asset owners, custodians and functional coordinators in the delivery of life cycle asset management and asset information uplifts across all assets across all transport modes.
  • Facilitate integration of business process and uplifted asset handover requirements for new and upgraded assets, ensuring long term service and operational requirements are embedded in Transport for NSW plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas of continuous improvement and facilitating the process of implementation
  • Identify and support functional coordinator contract modifications to support and embed uplifted asset management and asset information requirements.
  • Promote Transport for NSW values, behaviours and a culture of continuous improvement to deliver positive outcomes for customers, people and communities.

About you

You are a strategic and collaborative leader with a strong understanding of service delivery, life cycle asset management, asset information, asset assurance and customer experience in complex environments.

You have experience developing and implementing frameworks, operating models, business processes or governance arrangements, with experience in asset-intensive infrastructure or government environment, ideally in multi-modal transport. You excel at building trusted relationships, influencing diverse stakeholders and balancing customer needs with whole of life asset considerations to achieve sustainable outcomes.
