At Sener, we deliver some of the world's most complex transportation and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Construction Methodology with 20+ years of overall infrastructure experience, including at least 10 years on major Rail projects, to support the delivery of rail and metro projects in Saudi Arabia.

This position will play a critical role in developing and governing construction methodologies for large-scale railway infrastructure projects, ensuring that construction strategies, sequencing, temporary works, logistics planning, and constructability solutions are technically robust, cost-effective, safe, and aligned with project delivery objectives. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and review of construction methodologies for major railway infrastructure projects during feasibility, design, procurement, and construction phases.
2. Establish construction sequencing, staging, phasing, and execution strategies that support efficient project delivery while minimizing operational and stakeholder impacts.
3. Provide technical leadership on constructability reviews and ensure construction considerations are integrated into design development activities.
4. Oversee the preparation and review of method statements, construction plans, temporary works concepts, logistics plans, and site execution strategies.
5. Coordinate with engineering, project management, systems, operations, and construction teams to ensure alignment between design intent and construction methodology requirements.
6. Identify construction risks, interface challenges, and implementation constraints while developing practical and innovative mitigation measures.
7. Support tender evaluations, contractor engagements, value engineering exercises, and technical reviews related to construction methodology and delivery approaches.
8. Mentor and lead construction methodology teams while promoting best practices, innovation, safety, and continuous improvement across projects.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience within major infrastructure projects.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience on rail projects is mandatory.
3. Proven experience developing and reviewing construction methodologies for complex railway infrastructure projects, including stations, depots, tunnels, viaducts, and associated systems.
4. Strong experience in construction sequencing, staging, temporary works planning, logistics management, and constructability assessments.
5. Demonstrated experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams throughout project delivery.
6. Strong knowledge of railway construction practices, project controls, risk management, and construction planning principles.
7. Experience participating in tender reviews, contractor evaluations, value engineering initiatives, and technical governance activities.
8. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience on large-scale Railway, High-Speed Rail, Commuter Rail, Metro, or Integrated Transport projects.
2. Experience delivering rail projects within Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region.
3. Demonstrated involvement in major infrastructure programs from concept development through construction delivery.
4. Strong understanding of international railway standards, construction governance frameworks, and project assurance requirements.
5. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within international engineering consultancy environments.
6. A Master’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
7. Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, PMP, or an equivalent professional certification is desirable.
