Job Description

 A boutique investment manager with an established presence in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands is seeking an experienced Compliance and Reporting Officer / MLRO. Based in Bermuda, this is a senior, high-impact role with responsibility for overseeing the firm’s regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, risk management and reporting obligations across both jurisdictions.

Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will take ownership of the compliance framework, providing practical regulatory guidance, strengthening policies and controls, overseeing AML/MLRO matters and ensuring the business remains fully aligned with evolving regulatory requirements. The role will also act as the key point of contact with regulatory authorities in Bermuda and Cayman, managing regulatory relationships and ensuring the firm maintains the highest standards of governance, risk management and regulatory integrity.

Requirements

• A professional investment and/or compliance-related designation (i.e., FINRA Series 7 & 24, CFA, CAMS, ICA).
• At least ten years’ experience in investment operations, including five years in a management capacity, along with at least five years’ compliance experience at a senior management level, satisfying OECD financial regulatory requirements.
• Track record demonstrating excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory authorities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, good business sense, attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure.
