Team Overview
The Sales Operations Senior Manager plays a central role in enabling commercial performance through strong planning, operational discipline, and high-quality decision support.
This role leads the Sales Operations and Commercial Planning agenda, ensuring the commercial organization has the right processes, governance, tools, and insights to execute with consistency and scale. It requires someone who can build structure where needed, improve what is not working, and translate business priorities into clear operating routines, planning cycles, and measurable outcomes.
This position focuses on maximizing execution quality across the commercial organization by combining planning, forecasting, process design, performance management, and operational intelligence.
Role Responsibilities
- Leading the Sales Operations and Planning agenda, ensuring strong alignment between business priorities, execution routines, and field performance.
- The owner of core planning cycles, including target setting, forecasting, capacity planning, scenario analysis, and performance reviews.
- The architect of operating routines and governance, including WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, pipeline reviews, business reviews, and recovery plans.
- Accountable for analyzing, designing, and improving commercial processes to increase productivity, clarity, and execution consistency across teams.
- Responsible for monitoring operational KPIs and translating data into clear insights, risks, opportunities, and actions for commercial leadership.
- A strategic partner to commercial leaders, helping improve funnel performance, sales quality, execution discipline, and planning accuracy.
- A practical user of AI, automation, and data tools to improve reporting, forecasting, productivity, workflow efficiency, and decision-making.
- A builder of structure, able to create scalable mechanisms, simplify complexity, and improve operational maturity as the business evolves.
- S&OE and S&OP leader.
Role Qualifications
- A strong track record in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Planning, or similar roles with clear business impact.
- Strong analytical judgment and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations and actions.
- Proven ability to build and improve processes, management routines, and operating models in fast-changing environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners in matrixed organizations.
- The ability to work effectively with multicultural stakeholders across different regions, business contexts, and communication styles.
- High coachability and strong partnership with leadership; able to absorb feedback, align quickly, and convert direction into execution.
- The ability to simplify complex business topics into clear priorities, practical actions, and scalable operating mechanisms.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and a high bar for quality and follow-through.
- Practical experience using AI, automation, and data tools to improve commercial operations and planning outcomes.
- A proactive, hands-on mindset, with the ability to anticipate operational needs before they become issues.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Planning, or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong experience supporting commercial organizations through planning, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in complex and dynamic environments.
- Fluent English.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, plus Python.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Experience with forecasting models, pipeline analysis, and scenario planning.
- Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation and AI-enabled workflows applied to commercial operations.
