Senior Manager Commercial Finance for France, is highly visible role, working closely with key stakeholders across the France business. The role entails supporting high-profile strategic and operational initiatives, delivering financial and business insights, and making recommendations for short and long-term decisions for the France business. The commercial finance team is responsible for coordinating and facilitating commercial finance planning processes, financial partnership with business stakeholders, monitoring financial performance, reporting financial and operational results, and improving financial results.

As the senior finance business partner for France, this role serves as the primary liaison between the France business and global Finance functions, ensuring alignment between local business priorities and corporate financial processes and governance.

This is an exempt, full-time position reporting to the Vice President, Global Commercial Finance and is based in our Paris, France office.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to France business leadership on financial resource allocation, growth opportunities, and execution risks
  • Serve as the senior Finance representative for France, ensuring effective coordination across global Finance functions and providing financial leadership to the local business.

  • Partner with France commercial leaders to evaluate and support growth and operational initiatives, pricing strategies, market decisions, and investment trade-offs
  • Connect long-term commercial strategy to near and mid-term financial and operational execution

  • Proactively deliver business leadership with business and financial insights that add value to the organization
  • Manage and support areas of the core financial and planning analysis efforts including:
    • Budget and forecast preparation and tracking
    • Monitor financial performance
    • Financial reporting for management
    • Financial analysis to target improvements
    • Long-range finance forecasting
  • Develop management reports that provide the right information to the right people to drive performance to meet objectives
  • Act as the primary Finance point of contact for the France business, coordinating with global Finance functions including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A and other Centers of Excellence to ensure effective financial support and execution.
  • Ensure appropriate financial governance, compliance with corporate policies, and alignment of local financial activities and regulations with global standards.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across Finance and business teams to support the successful execution of strategic and operational priorities.
  • Act as the Finance lead for France-specific initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and optimize the France P&L through local regulatory, tax and business initiatives, in close collaboration with HR, Legal, Tax and other corporate functions.
  • Lead special projects
  • Ad hoc analysis, requests and reporting

ABOUT YOU

  • B.S. or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated ability to advise senior leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, resourceful and resilient
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain focus on key priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology
  • Proficient in French and English
