In this role, you'll:

Reporting to our Director Workplace Contracts within our Workplaces branch in our People Communications and Workplaces division, you’ll be responsible for leading the Enablement team and overseeing the frameworks, systems and governance that support the lifecycle of contracts managed in the Workplaces branch.

You’ll lead a team of contract administration, governance and risk professionals, building capability and ensuring consistent, high-quality contract administration, governance, assurance and reporting across a diverse portfolio of workplace service contracts.

You’ll ensure contracts are managed in alignment with relevant Transport Frameworks and establishes governance and controls that support commercial and value-for-money outcomes.

You’ll act as a strategic partner, leading the integration of business needs into commercial, governance and contract operating practices whilst ensuring compliance obligations are met and risks are proactively identified and managed.

You’ll drive operational efficiency and contract management excellence through effective systems, reporting, data insights and process improvement building capability across teams and driving consistency through the contract lifecycle.

This permanent position is located in our Macquarie Park office. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance and approved remote working.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent professional experience, you’ll have extensive experience in contract management or commercial enablement within a large or complex organisation, ideally within a regulated environment.

With a strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms, you’ll have sound knowledge of best practice procurement, contract management and governance policies and frameworks.

You’ll bring experience working with large-scale service contracts, ideally across facilities management, workplace services, security or property operations. You’ll understand how effective governance, contract administration and risk management support strong operational and customer outcomes.

You’ll have proven experience leading teams and building capability while developing strong collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be comfortable balancing governance requirements with operational outcomes and driving accountability and continuous improvements across complex service environments.

You’re a self-starter, collaborative and communicate effectively to drive outcomes.
