Senior Manager Clinical Education (APAC)

Supporting cardiac and vascular segments - Image Guided Therapy Devices

Strategic Planning and Program Execution

  • Lead the development of a multi-year education strategy that aligns with business goals, category priorities, and clinical advancements.
  • Translate enterprise and business unit strategies into actionable learning roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for all programs; track performance through dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data visualization tools.
  • Leverage insights and analytics to refine programs, demonstrate ROI, and communicate education impact to key stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Talent Development

  • Hire and onbaord top talent
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of education professionals across roles and regions.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation through clear goal setting, regular feedback, and career development planning.
  • Attract and retain top talent by promoting growth opportunities and defining clear pathways for advancement.
  • Champion a team environment rooted in collaboration, inclusion, trust, and open communication.

Enterprise Collaboration and Integration

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, R&D, Medical Affairs, and Operations to ensure alignment and support for enterprise-wide education initiatives.
  • Promote consistency, scalability, and standardization of education approaches across categories, geographies, and delivery formats.
  • Lead with an enterprise mindset—ensuring education solutions are designed for impact at scale, not siloed functionally or regionally.

KOL and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to inform education design, validate clinical relevance, and drive co-created learning experiences.
  • Partner with Category Leads to align education with product strategies, innovation pipelines, and market expansion efforts.
  • Support compliant KOL engagement planning, including educational collaborations, speaker development, and field faculty training.
  • Ensure meaningful and compliant interactions with HCPs that support improved clinical outcomes and brand trust.

Educational Innovation and Learning Design

  • Drive innovation in educational methods, tools, and technology—incorporating adaptive learning, virtual simulations, mobile learning, and AI-enabled assessments.
  • Partner with analytics and tech teams to design programs that are measurable, modular, and digitally enabled.
  • Stay current on adult learning trends, digital education platforms, and compliance guidelines to ensure programs are modern, relevant, and aligned with best practices.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Own and manage the clinical education budget in partnership with Finance and Operations teams.
  • Ensure alignment between resources and strategic priorities, proactively identifying cost efficiencies and optimization opportunities.
  • Track and forecast spend, support annual operating planning, and provide transparency in reporting to senior leadership.

  • Program Scalability: Designs education that is modular, reusable, and adaptable to various markets and audiences.
  • Learning Science Expertise: Drive team to apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to program creation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Education, Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in people leadership (training, or related roles—preferably in healthcare or the medical technology industry).
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional education programs, including strategic planning, KPI development, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Experience partnering with KOLs and working across commercial, clinical, and product functions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms, proficiency tracking systems, and educational analytics is preferred.
