Role Purpose

Drive high-impact, multi-country strategic insight partnerships for major EMEA HQ clients, acting as a senior advisor to HQ stakeholders while leading complex engagements across markets.

  • Greater strategic ownership and autonomy across accounts
  • Stronger influence at Director / VP / occasional C-level
  • Accountability for end-to-end insight impact and commercial contribution
  • Leadership in shaping how multi-country insights are delivered and scaled

The role operates in close partnership with the Senior Director, EMEA HQ Strategic Insights, contributing to the overall HQ engagement strategy.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Insights Lead – HQ Client Engagement, you will combine strategic advisory, multi-market leadership, and commercial impact to elevate Circana’s role with top HQ clients.

You will lead complex, high-visibility engagements across multiple countries, influence senior stakeholders, and ensure insights translate into tangible business outcomes

Job responsibilities

  1. Strategic Client Leadership & HQ Engagement
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to HQ stakeholders (Director / VP level, with exposure to C-level conversations)
  • Shape and lead the client insight agenda across markets
  • Bring an outside-in perspective, leveraging benchmarks, trends, and thought leadership
  • Translate client strategies into clear, actionable, forward-looking insight roadmaps
  • Proactively challenge and influence client thinking
  1. Advanced Multi-Country Insight Leadership
  • Lead complex multi-market projects end-to-end, from framing to impact delivery
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and strategic level of outputs across countries
  • Integrate insights across:
    • markets
    • categories
    • channels
    • shopper & consumer dynamics
  • Deliver clear business implications and recommendations (not reporting)
  1. Commercial Impact & Growth Contribution
  • Own meaningful contribution to account growth and revenue expansion
  • Identify and lead cross-sell / up-sell opportunities at HQ level
  • Actively contribute to pipeline development and strategic proposals
  • Ensure insights are directly linked to client value and ROI
  1. Senior Stakeholder Influence & Storytelling Excellence
  • Deliver high-impact executive storytelling tailored to senior audiences
  • Simplify complex data into clear strategic decisions
  • Lead critical presentations and key client moments (HQ-level deliverables)
  • Build strong credibility as a go-to strategic partner
  1. Thought Leadership Activation & Innovation
  • Leverage and tailor Circana thought leadership to client priorities
  • Identify emerging business questions and shape future insight topics
  • Integrate advanced analytics, AI, and innovation into client work
  • Contribute to scalable frameworks and best practices for HQ engagement
  1. Cross-Functional Leadership (One Circana)
  • Act as a central orchestrator across markets, functions, and teams
  • Partner closely with:
    • Account Directors / ICLs
    • Strategic Insights
    • Analytics & data teams
    • Local market teams
  • Ensure a consistent “One Circana” experience across countries

Requirements

Experience:

  • 8–12+ years in insights, analytics, consulting, or strategy roles
  • Strong experience with multi-country / HQ client environments
  • Proven track record influencing senior stakeholders (Director / VP level)
  • Experience leading complex, high-visibility projects

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Advanced storytelling and executive communication skills
  • Ability to translate data into business impact and decisions
  • Strong commercial mindset and growth orientation
  • Experience with advanced analytics / AI tools (a plus)
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix and international environment

Languages:

  • Fluent business English required
  • Additional European language (French, German, Italian, Spanish, NL) preferred
