Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager – CDD & Governance to lead the Customer Due Diligence function for Emirates NBD London. This role will oversee CDD, KYC and EDD operations, governance standards, quality assurance, senior management reporting and regulatory alignment across a UK regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead CDD, KYC and EDD operations across onboarding, periodic reviews, trigger reviews and remediation activity.

• Ensure customer due diligence, screening and file documentation standards are maintained in line with UK regulatory and internal requirements.

• Develop CDD procedures, governance reporting, MI, KPIs and quality assurance frameworks for senior management review.

• Partner with Financial Crime Compliance, MLRO, CRO, Operational Risk, Relationship Managers, Operations and audit stakeholders.

• Lead and develop the CDD & Governance team, supporting resource planning, continuous improvement and strong operational controls.

Skills and Experience

• Significant experience managing Customer Due Diligence or KYC operations within a UK regulated bank.

• Strong understanding of UK AML/CTF regulations, including CDD, EDD, customer risk ratings and high-risk customer management.

• Experience leading operational teams and managing audits, regulatory reviews, remediation plans and regulatory change.

• Strong stakeholder management, senior reporting, prioritisation and communication skills.

• Degree or equivalent professional experience. A financial crime qualification such as ICA or ACAMS is desirable.
