Job Description

Role : Senior Manager - Cash Solutions & Channels
Location : Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

Senior Manager Cash Solutions & Channels plays a pivotal role in strengthening GTB capabilities and driving growth, with the goal of positioning ADIB among the key regional players in the GTB market. This key position is responsible for growing/optimizing on new and existing Cash Management solutions and channels to support business and to ensure that the Bank sustains a strong value proposition. The incumbent manages the development, commercialization, and delivery of the agreed digital channels roadmap for UAE and IBG. Also, he is responsible for driving end-to-end cash solutions, seamless channel integration, and superior client experience while ensuring Shariah/Regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. Key outcomes include measured year-on-year growth in fee income and CASA, successful execution and commercialization of assigned projects, and delivery of high-impact, client-centric solutions.

Key Accountabilities of the role


•Cash Product Management
• Manage the full suite of cash management products, including: o Collections (receivables, virtual accounts, e-collections) o Payments (local, cross-border, bulk payments) o Liquidity & cash concentration solutions
• Support in defining and prioritizing cash Products road map with reference to customer needs, competitive landscape, regulations, and bottom line to increase stakeholder value.
• Ensure all products are Shariah-compliant and aligned with ADIB’s Islamic banking principles.
• Conceptualization of new Cash products encompassing both development of product structure, processes and documentation
• Conduct market research and monitor/analyze client and industry trends including competitor banks product capabilities and work closely with various stakeholders to enhance existing products and develop insights, product offering, and potential solutions for our clients.

•Ensure product gaps and opportunities for product market penetration and commercialization is managed properly.
• Development of business cases and requirement specifications to support new product recommendations.
• Creating detailed product programs and processes for cash products in coordination with legal, Sharia and different stakeholders Channels & Integration
• Lead corporate channel strategy across: o Corporate Online Banking o Host-to-Host (H2H) o API / Open Banking integrations o SWIFT connectivity (MT/MX, FileAct) o Digital Onboarding o ICCS corporate for remote cheque scanning
• Develop GTB customer delivery channels and products to align it with the Bank's strategic intent to maximize growth, enhance value, and establish leadership in Transaction Banking.
• Define a clear channel strategy and a channel evolution roadmap considering global/local trends, business needs, customer experience and the overall digital bank vision.
• Responsible for cash management channel development from conceptualization stage to commercialization across UAE and IBG countries.
• Oversee onboarding, integration, testing, and go live for corporate clients.
• Partner with IT, digital, and operations teams to deliver seamless integrations and ensure high availability, scalability, security, and straight through processing (STP).
Client & Relationship Support
Act as a subject matter expert for corporate cash solutions during sales pitches, RFPs, and client discussions.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions and capabilities that enhance the channels’ ability to attract and retain GTB clients, incorporating and integrating different product features into it.
• Support Relationship Managers in structuring complex cash and channel solutions.
• Drive customer adoption, usage growth, and retention of cash management services.
• Achieve the target NPS of digital channels, and to explore opportunities to enhance the customer experience. Revenue & Performance Management
• Contribute to cash management revenue targets, pricing discipline, and profitability.
• Monitor KPIs such as transaction volumes, client penetration, channel adoption, and service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the corporate portfolio.
• Support GTB fee revenues through cash solutions and Channels’ enhancements. Protect the business from revenue leakages. Risk, Compliance & Governance
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and operational risk standards.
• Manage product governance, documentation, and approvals.
• Ensure business continuity, fraud risk mitigation, and cybersecurity alignment for all channels.
• Ensure all audit, legal, security, compliance, and regulatory considerations associated with the delivery of GTB products and services are addressed and documentations are in place duly approved
Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with key stakeholders such as, legal, Shariah, compliance, operations, IT, credit, marketing and sales to ensure seamless product launch and on-going operation
• Maintain close co-ordination with project stakeholders for project delivery and commercialization of products with revenue monitoring.
• Communicate cash products updates, ensuring clear understanding of our product capabilities across various customer touchpoints, including sales, relationship managers, implementation. Coordinate and arrange regular product trainings to stakeholders.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:



• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Managed roll out of cash products in similar countries.
• Knowledge in Shariah-compliant Cash Products
• Experience in managing stakeholders and influencing product delivery.
• Robust understanding of different cash systems
• A good team player with strong interpersonal skills and proven commercial track record with leadership abilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to produce documentation.
• Self-motivated with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet tight schedule
