Job Description

This is your opportunity to join an innovative NSW government organisation that keeps the state moving.

In this role you’ll

  • Act as the primary interface between the Prioritisation and Asset Management branch and Transport for NSW business units, ensuring asset management and asset information activities align with organisational strategy and priorities.
  • Be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leaders and drive leading-practice asset management across the organisation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leadership to understand priorities, gain commitment and influence asset initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of cluster, agency and divisional asset initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure quality outcomes, continuous improvement and integration of asset considerations into business planning.
  • Support compliance, risk mitigation and effective management of asset related issues.
  • Identify and facilitate contract modifications to enable effective operation and maintenance of assets, applying a best for Transport approach.
  • Lead and support asset management communities of practice, promoting knowledge sharing and cross functional learning.

About you

You are a strategic, relationship‑focused leader with a strong understanding of asset management in complex environments. You have experience in asset-intensive infrastructure or government environment, ideally in multi-modal transport. You excel at influencing stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and providing trusted advice that supports whole‑of‑organisation outcomes.
