
1) GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Develop the commercial architecture for an integrated healthcare, academic, research and innovation enterprise. The role will translate each proposed revenue platform into a viable operating and financial model with defined customers, pricing, ownership, cost-to-serve, margins and implementation pathways.
2) JOB DESCRIPTION
Enterprise Business Model
Design the enterprise business model, including value propositions, customer and payer segments, channels, pricing logic, unit economics, cost-to-serve and margin architecture.
Ensure commercial design supports clinical excellence, academic objectives, research growth and long-term financial sustainability.
Revenue Platform Development
Develop evidence-based business cases for hospital and specialist services, international patients, precision medicine, diagnostics, clinical research, digital health, education, innovation, wellness and supporting commercial services.
Assign each revenue platform a clear owner, priced model, implementation pathway, investment requirement and phased ramp-up profile.
Commercial Validation and Pipeline
Validate new revenue platforms using customer discovery, market evidence, partner discussions, pipeline development and realistic adoption assumptions.
Reject unsupported top-down revenue assumptions and establish measurable pre-launch demand evidence.
Inter-entity Commercial Architecture
Design transfer-pricing, service-level, charging, consultant-engagement and revenue-sharing arrangements across relevant Group entities and operating units.
Ensure commercial arrangements are transparent, compliant and aligned with enterprise value creation.
Intellectual Property and Venture Economics
Develop policies covering intellectual-property ownership, licensing, royalties, spin-out equity, founder participation and co-investment structures with Legal and Finance.
Design commercially viable tenancy, shared-facility and partnership models for innovation and research activities.
Financial Model and Investment Decisions
Co-develop the integrated financial model with the capital and funding lead and ensure revenue, operating cost, capital and cash-flow assumptions are internally consistent.
Coordinate independent review of the commercial and financial model before major investment decisions.

3) JOB REQUIREMENT
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, healthcare management, life sciences or a related discipline.
MBA, certified /professional accounting, CPA / CFA or relevant commercial qualification is advantageous.
Knowledge and Experience
At least 10 years in commercial strategy, healthcare business development, life-sciences commercialisation, investment banking or venture development.
Demonstrated experience monetising one or more of diagnostics, genomics, digital health, clinical research, education, real estate, wellness or venture platforms.
Strong financial modelling, pricing, unit-economics and investment-analysis capability.
Experience developing new revenue sources outside conventional hospital operations is strongly preferred.
Track record negotiating complex commercial arrangements across multiple entities and stakeholders.
