Create your best future and join Westpac as a Senior Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring – Chief Data and Analytics Office
What’s the role?
As Senior Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring, you’ll support the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) and Shared Data and AI Delivery Unit to effectively manage their risk and control environment. You’ll play an important role in embedding risk frameworks, policies and controls, while supporting effective monitoring, reporting and governance across the business.
You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across Line 1 and Line 2, providing practical risk expertise across emerging risks, incidents, issues and controls. You’ll help identify opportunities to strengthen risk practices and controls, undertake root cause analysis, support incident and issue remediation, and ensure actions are effectively managed through to closure.
You’ll also prepare insights and reporting for risk committees and governance forums, maintain risk profiles and support control testing. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to the governance and safe delivery of transformation and change initiatives across CDAO and the Shared Data and AI Delivery Unit, helping build greater risk awareness and ownership across the business.
This is a permanent, Sydney based role with two to three days in the office to connect with the wider team.
What do I need?
You’ll bring strong risk and controls capability, sound judgement and the confidence to work with stakeholders across a complex environment. You’ll be someone who can work through risk challenges, communicate clearly and turn complex information into practical actions.
