Job Description

In this role you'll

  • Manage bus contracts to deliver safe, clean, reliable, compliant and efficient public transport outcomes.
  • Contribute toward developing and maintaining a contract governance framework that will ensure that the contracts are compliant and provide value for money.
  • Review, negotiate and manage the development of project plans, budgets and contract risk management plans consistent with the Transport for NSW Corporate Plan.
  • Collaborate with Operational Asset Assurance to ensure that bus services are consistent with government priorities and deliver high quality, customer-oriented services and provide value for money.
  • Lead the strategic contract and relationship management of bus service contracts by building credible and respected relationships.
  • Partner with Transport for NSW and with operators to continually improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and negotiate KPIs to drive performance
  • Provide accurate and timely advice, information and reports on service performance, contractual matters and disputes, and to recommend strategic solutions.
  • Provide leadership to build team capability and embed a culture of continuous improvement, professional development and high-quality service delivery.

About you

You have a passion for public transport, service delivery and driving outcomes that benefit passengers. With proven expertise in contract delivery, you are an excellent problem solver and communicator who knows how to deliver value for money. You have strong stakeholder management skills and can navigate government processes. You have a thorough understanding of relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks.
