Job Description

The Aspen Group (TAG) is one of the largest and most trusted retail healthcare business support organizations in the U.S. and has supported over 20,000 healthcare professionals and team members with close to 1,500 health and wellness offices across 48 states in four distinct categories: dental care, urgent care, medical aesthetics, and animal health. Working in partnership with independent practice owners and clinicians, the team is united with a single purpose: to prove that healthcare can be better and smarter for everyone. TAG provides a comprehensive suite of centralized business support services that power the impact of five consumer-facing businesses: Aspen Dental, ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers, WellNow Urgent Care, Chapter Aesthetic Studio, and Lovet. Each brand has access to a deep community of experts, tools and resources to grow their practices, and an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality consumer healthcare experiences at scale.

As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth we are very pleased to offer a new opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Senior Manager, AI-Search.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, AI-Search to join The Aspen Group. This role operates at the intersection of SEO, AI search, and local search — owning the technical standards, testing discipline, and cross-channel hygiene that determine how our brands show up across search engines and large language models.

The Senior Manager, AI-Search is a hands-on practitioner, not a strategy-only role. You will leverage AI to accelerate audit execution and time to market, deploy and manage SEO A/B testing programs, maintain standards compliance across SEO, AI, and Local, and proactively surface growth opportunities through regular cross-brand analysis. You will work closely with senior leadership to align priorities with business objectives and ensure initiatives drive measurable patient acquisition outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical SEO expertise with a testing-first mindset and the ability to operate across multiple brands and channels simultaneously. You must be comfortable working at the technical layer, building business cases for site performance improvements, and translating analysis into clear requirements for cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Standards Creation and Compliance Monitoring.Develop and maintain unified standards across SEO, AI search, and Local. Build systems to monitor compliance with best practices and support cross-functional teams in maintaining those standards. Implement updates at the technical layer and ensure consistent application across all brands.
  • AI-Accelerated Auditing.Leverage AI tools and platforms to improve time to market on technical and content audits, reducing cycle time while increasing coverage and accuracy.
  • Testing and Performance Analysis.Deploy SEO A/B tests to understand what factors impact results. Design test frameworks, analyze outcomes, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that inform content and technical decisions.
  • Cross-Channel Coordination and Hygiene.Manage the coordination and reconciliation of SEO, AI, and Local hygiene across brands. Ensure data consistency, listing accuracy, and alignment between national and local search presence.
  • Growth Opportunity Identification.Proactively identify new growth opportunities through regular analysis across all brands. Surface emerging trends, competitive gaps, and untapped search demand to inform the practice’s content and technical roadmap.
  • Content Deployment Support.Support content deployments through benchmarking, crawl analysis, and performance monitoring. Provide pre- and post-publish performance context to the editorial team to inform production priorities.
  • Implementation Validation.Verify that technical and content changes are implemented correctly and performing as intended. Own the post-implementation QA process to confirm that updates at the technical layer, on-page changes, and configuration adjustments are live, accurate, and producing the expected outcomes.
  • SEO and AI Visibility Advancements.Stay current with new developments at the intersection of SEO and AI visibility and performance. Evaluate emerging ranking factors, LLM citation behaviors, and AI search surface changes, and translate relevant advancements into actionable updates for the practice.
  • Internal Linking and Off-Site Factors.Conduct internal linking analysis to identify structural opportunities, improve crawl efficiency, and strengthen topical authority across the site. Monitor and assess off-site factors — including backlink profile health, referring domain quality, and external citation signals — that influence both traditional search and AI search visibility.
  • Technical Requirements and Business Cases.Escalate technical issues, define requirements, and build business cases to advance SEO and AI site performance. Translate technical findings into language that resonates with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Analysis.Provide data-driven reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders, with a focus on performance trends, drivers, and measurable impact on patient acquisition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience.7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years focused on SEO and at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Technical SEO Depth.Strong command of crawl analysis, log file analysis, site architecture, internal linking strategy, schema, Core Web Vitals, indexation management, and rendering. Advanced knowledge of Screaming Frog is required. Experience assessing off-site factors including backlink profile health, referring domain quality, and external citation signals. Comfortable working at the technical layer and defining requirements for engineering teams.
  • Testing Discipline.Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and analyzing SEO A/B tests. You understand statistical rigor, test isolation, and how to translate test outcomes into production decisions.
  • AI and LLM Fluency.Practical experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate audit and analysis workflows. Understanding of how large language models source, surface, and cite content, and how that differs from classical search behavior.
  • Cross-Channel Search Experience.Experience managing or coordinating across national SEO, local search, and AI search channels. Familiarity with the hygiene and reconciliation challenges that arise when multiple channels serve the same brand.
  • Content Scaling Experience.Expertise in supporting content initiatives across pages representing more than 1,000 physical locations. Understanding of what scale demands in terms of benchmarking, monitoring, and performance tracking.
  • Analytical Rigor.Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, or equivalent). Ability to connect analysis to business outcomes and patient acquisition.
  • Communication and Business Case Development.Excellent communication skills with the ability to define technical requirements, build business cases, and present findings to leadership in a way that drives action.
  • Project Management.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize across brands, and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

  • Education.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Multi-Brand Experience.Experience operating across multiple brands or business units within a single organization, with an understanding of how to maintain consistency while adapting to brand-specific needs.
  • Log File Analysis.Hands-on experience with server log file analysis for SEO purposes, including crawl budget optimization and bot behavior analysis.
  • Healthcare Industry Knowledge.Familiarity with the healthcare industry, including patient acquisition strategies, HIPAA compliance, and navigating industry-specific challenges.
  • Creative Problem Solving.Innovative thinking and the ability to adapt to an evolving digital and AI-driven landscape.
  • Coding Experience.Previous experience with coding languages (Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or similar) is a plus. Ability to write or modify scripts for data extraction, automation, or technical SEO analysis is valued.

Annual Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000/year, with a generous benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with match.

TAG - The Aspen Group

About TAG - The Aspen Group

When we launched Aspen Dental, we set out to break down the barriers that made it hard for patients to keep up with their dental health — affordability, transparency, and access. We knew the key to better patient care started with the provider, so we changed how the dental business worked. We built new relationships, expertise, and tools to help dentists run their businesses more effectively and better care for their patients.

Fast forward, and over 25 years later, we’ve launched more than 1000 Aspen Dental locations—by doing so, we are proud to say we have changed access to dental care nationwide. But there’s more work to do. Healthier, happier smiles were just our beginning.

We come together to launch TAG – The Aspen Group, and we are officially expanding beyond dental to embrace a new vision. As we transform Aspen Dental, Chapter, ClearChoice, WellNow, and Lovet into one family, we’re setting out to achieve one simple goal together: to bring better healthcare to more people - because we believe in a future where health and wellness is accessible for all. While our vision now is broader, how we achieve it remains the same. The best care starts with the provider, and TAG exists to power them so they can meet patients where they are, no matter their specialty, and deliver better care. Because we know that at the end of the day, better healthcare is simple — empower the provider and their teams and the rest will follow.

United as one group, we’re not just breaking down barriers, today we’re breaking through. We’re challenging the status quo. Together we can prove healthcare can be better for both providers and patients. Together we can bring better healthcare to more people.
