Our Client is looking for a Senior Manager, Africa, Growth to join their team and help grow Africa's leading online music service focused on the mass market. The mission is to provide music lovers with easy and legal access to a vast library of African songs, while also empowering African artists to reach a wider audience. They have millions of monthly users across Africa (with Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa being main markets)
Job Objectives:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of online media buying experience, preferably in a leadership role
Demonstrating expertise in driving customer acquisition, optimizing media budgets, and forecasting future performance.
Strong understanding of online media buying strategies including campaign optimization and negotiating partnerships with media companies to acquire profitable users and subscribers.
Proficiency in analyzing customer data, cohorts, and product performance metrics is crucial to drive strategic decisions and accurately forecast future revenue and customer performance.
Experience in establishing and managing long-term partnerships with media companies with strong negotiation to ensure optimal return on investment.
Expertise in setting up and optimizing online and offline campaigns to drive conversion, engagement, and customer value is required. Candidates should be familiar with various marketing channels and tools for campaign tracking and optimization.
The ability to test new initiatives and channels to drive key growth metrics is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, partnerships, and product teams.
Proficiency in relevant analytical and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and CRM platforms is preferred. Candidates should also have a good understanding of digital marketing principles and technologies.
Candidates should be highly results-driven and motivated to achieve and exceed growth targets. They should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate resilience in overcoming challenges.
