Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  1. Budget & Cost Management
  • Develop financial plans and oversee budget allocation for administrative and facility-related services.
  • Lead implementation of cost-control strategies and conduct periodic financial reviews.
  • Supervise MIS and billing for Admin and Employee Relations, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Oversee petty cash management systems, reinforcing accuracy and accountability.
  1. Canteen & Guest House Operations
  • Formulate policy and planning for day-to-day canteen operations, including financial planning and vendor management.
  • Ensure adherence to advanced food safety standards and statutory requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration with the canteen committee to uphold high standards of service and employee satisfaction.
  • Supervise guest house management, ensuring exemplary service for visiting employees and guests.
  1. Welfare, Public Relations & Government Liaisoning
  • Initiate and oversee comprehensive employee welfare programs.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with government and statutory bodies at a senior level to secure necessary permissions and ensure compliance.
  • Lead CSR and community engagement initiatives, enhancing the company’s corporate social responsibility image.
  1. Event & Function Management
  • Lead the planning and organization of large-scale official functions, events, and high-profile customer visits.
  • Oversee logistics and ensure smooth coordination and execution of events.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the high-quality execution of functions.
  1. Hospitality & Travel Desk Management
  • Oversee and optimize transportation schedules and pool car allocations, with a focus on efficiency and safety.
  • Manage senior-level hotel bookings and coordinate travel arrangements for leadership and guests.
  • Supervise comprehensive travel management, ensuring compliance with company travel policies.
  • Ensure adherence to hospitality norms and company policies for new joiners, including various allowances and benefits.
  1. Compliance & Sustainability
  • Ensure the organization meets advanced statutory and compliance requirements for administration and facility management.
  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives that align with strategic company goals.
  • Drive compliance with OHSAS, ISO 220000, and Food Safety standards in all relevant operations.
  • Oversee contract labor management, ensuring compliance with labor laws including Minimum Wages, PF, and ESIC Acts.

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

Post Graduate Dip in Personnel Mgmt; Masters in Social Work; Master of Labour Studies

General Experience

15 years.Multi locations, multi states exposure will be preferred

Critical Experience

Previous Experience as Head - Industrial Relation (for a Small/Medium size unionised plant.Experience of signing at-least 5-6 Long term Settlements , in Small/Medium unionized plants.Should have an experience of developing and implementing ER Strategy at Plant Level.Should be good at Partnership building with local industry and industry associations, labour authorities, local government bodies
